The Scouts from Pack 727 were recognized by the Mayor of Rancho Santa Margarita for volunteer work they did for the 2nd Battalion 5th Marine Regiment out of Camp Pendleton. The Scouts assisted in the City's Winter Wonderland event where the wives of the then deployed 2nd Battalion 5th Marine came to Rancho Santa Margarita for a day of shopping on the City. The Scouts wrapped Christmas gifts for the moms.
